WHL Architects*Planners, Inc. was founded in 1987. The company's founder, Douglas R. White, continues to remain active in directing team members in our practice of architecture. Since starting his work on biotechnology and pharmaceuticals for Genentech, Inc. at South San Francisco in 1980, Douglas has consistently remained a "hands on" professional through direct participation on each WHL project. This approach has been a major factor in WHL's success over the years.
All WHL team members are computer literate and have networked AutoCad terminals. Fully utilizing the benefits of AutoCad, and linking our intranet with both external and internal e-mail, all WHL team members are thus provided instant communication with clients, contractors and consultants. The assigned WHL team on each of our projects consists of highly skilled individuals using the latest computer systems to fully analyze, estimate, schedule and document each project.
